The department of history was introduced when the college was established in 1938. Later this department started honors course under National University in 2006. Many prominent figures of the country served here as teachers. Currently this department is running with 410 students and three teachers. The students of this department enjoy seminar and library facilities. Many students of this department have become famous and are serving the nation in various departments. At present, this department is aiming to make the students resourceful so that they can make contribution to nation building.
