Philosophy is the critical examination of our most fundamental ideas about ourselves and the world. Our ideas and beliefs influence the way we live, personally and socially. Philosophy tries to make these beliefs evident and open to examination, hoping thereby to improve ourselves and our community.

This department launched in 2006-2007 academic session. Many prominent figures of the country served here as teachers. Currently this department is running with 380 students. The students of this department enjoy seminar and library facilities. At present, this department is aiming to make the students resourceful so that they can make contribution to country.
